Anything going from your identity to another goes through the outbox which means better manageable data/content delivery, noisy neighbor management, resiliency 🚀 Link previews in Chat and Feed. When you paste a link, we now get the Open Graph (OG) data, if available, to show a preview of the page in your feed, chat, and other apps. Of course, in the Homebase way - this query to the OG data is done via your identity server which keeps your client safe. 🚀 Speaking of Chat, the performance has been boosted granting faster message downloads and notifications. 🎗️Reminder! • Alrighty - another release is here and ready for your enjoyment. Some key changes - You can now insert images on article posts again - When creating new public channels, other users would have the correct access to the underlying drives - We added more rigor when sending data between identities to account for transient network issues (03/02/2024 17:10:32)
• The upgrade has been successfully completed. For those interested in technical details we have moved from one (index) database per drive to just one drive (index) database - per identity ofc. This was necessary for our next step which will be setting up database replication. (02/27/2024 12:18:57)
• Tomorrow on Tuesday the 27th of February we'll upgrade your databases on Raven hosting. The servers will be offline for periods of time. Outages expected in the timeframe 10:00 (am) to 13:00 GMT. This is the first step in preparation for making the servers high availability. (02/26/2024 20:01:15)
