When you create a new chat group, introductions occur automatically among the participants. How do Introductions work? When you're introduced to someone, they can send you chat messages by default. You can then choose to upgrade an introduced contact to a confirmed contact, add them to your circles, or follow them. Customizing Introductions If the default settings don't suit your preferences, you can adjust how introductions are handled in your settings. Getting Started To use this feature, ensure your identity is upgraded. Simply log in to your owner console to complete the upgrade. • We're rolling out our new logo and you've probably already noticed it appearing on your phone. The logo has many interpretations at once. It forms the letter H for Homebase. It also forms the letter H and i for Homebase.id. Additionally, it's a home, with a rather large chimney perhaps, and the sun rising behind it. This signifies the idea that Homebase is your safe and secure home online. Finally, it's also an individual person (the sun becomes the head). • Great news! We have some new updates ready for your Homebase Enjoyment. 🚀 New outbox engine with boosted performance. Anything going from your identity to another goes through the outbox which means better manageable data/content delivery, noisy neighbor management, resiliency 🚀 Link previews in Chat and Feed. When you paste a link, we now get the Open Graph (OG) data, if available, to show a preview of the page in your feed, chat, and other apps. • Alrighty - another release is here and ready for your enjoyment. Some key changes - You can now insert images on article posts again - When creating new public channels, other users would have the correct access to the underlying drives - We added more rigor when sending data between identities to account for transient network issues (03/02/2024 17:10:32)
• The upgrade has been successfully completed. For those interested in technical details we have moved from one (index) database per drive to just one drive (index) database - per identity ofc.
